The Gujarat High Court has dismissed a writ petition challenging the land acquisition proceedings undertaken for the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High Speed Rail (Bullet Train) Project, thereby upholding the validity of the acquisition process.
The petition questioned the legality of the land acquisition proceedings initiated for the project.The National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL), as respondent, defended the acquisition process before the Court.
Upon hearing the parties, the High Court dismissed the writ petition, affirming the validity of the acquisition proceedings.
