Gradyoumate Foundation, a social initiative started with the goal of supporting and helping deserving law students achieve their dreams without any financial barriers. Extra-curricular activities like debates, internships, moot courts, etc., are critical parts of legal learning and ought not to be missed out on due to financial constraints. These extra and co-curricular activities help law students become “industry ready” and boost their confidence. Gradyoumate provides tailored financial assistance programs (i.e. My Protege and Project Bridge) centred on law school activities such as internships, certificate courses, moot courts, and so on, wherein we reimburse or support the associated fees.
Gradyoumate Foundation is glad to support students pursue career-advancing courses and knowledge-building activities through such programs with the support of their donors.
CHECKMATE - The Stage is set, My Lawyer!
In furtherance of the objective of supporting law students at key junctures of law school, a first-of-a-kind competition titled, ‘Checkmate,’ for law school students has been devised, wherein the students are provided with an opportunity to put forward their views on the challenges that law schools currently face and design solutions for such identified issue/s. A healthy deliberation on a diverse set of problems that are currently preventing students from achieving excellence in various facets of legal learning is anticipated.
Competition details:
Timelines : 20/09/23 (Abstract Submission) and 30/09/23 (Finale)
Mode of the competition: Online
No. of Members Per Team : Maximum two
Registration Fee : Rs.500/- Per Team
Prizes : Rs.35,000/- (First prize), Rs.20,000 (Second prize), Rs.10,000/- (Third Prize), along with the opportunities to intern with theCall partner organisations.
