Call For Blog Contributions: Centre For Law And Urban Development, NLU Delhi

The Centre for Law and Urban Development (CLUD), National Law University Delhi, invites blog submissions for its ongoing blog series, accepted on a rolling basis. The blog should focus on contemporary issues at the intersection of law, policy, and urban development, with emphasis on legal and regulatory frameworks shaping cities.
Submissions are welcome from academics, legal practitioners, policymakers, researchers, and students. Contributions must be analytical and engage critically with recent developments in urban governance and regulation.
Indicative Themes
Submissions may engage with (but are not limited to): real estate and housing policy; urban taxation and city finance; healthcare and pharmaceutical regulation; urban project financing and insolvency frameworks; public–private partnerships; smart cities and digital infrastructure; sustainable cities; construction and materials regulation; and power, water, and urban utilities.
Submission Details
- Word limit: 800–1500 words
- Abstract: Mandatory (up to 50 words, submitted separately)
- Co-authorship: Up to two authors permitted
- Format: .doc/.docx; Times New Roman, 12 pt, 1.5 spacing; anonymised metadata
- Referencing: Hyperlinks within the text
- Author details: 100-word bio, high-resolution photo, and LinkedIn link (if available) to be submitted separately
Submissions must be emailed to clud@nludelhi.ac.in with the subject line “Submission for Centre for Law and Urban Development Blog Series”. All submissions must be original and will be screened for plagiarism and AI-generated content. Authors will be notified of the decision within two weeks of submission. Upon publication, literary rights vest with the Centre.
