    Themes for Submission

    • For Research Papers:
      • The Manuscripts submitted must be related to any subject matter related to Legal or Socio-Legal issues.
      • Manuscripts on interdisciplinary subject matters are also invited so far as they intersect with Law or Legal Issues of the concerned subject matter.
    • For Case Analyses:
      • Any Landmark Case of Apex Courts of any Country (including Supreme Court of India) which has not been overruled and has made significant impact on the Legal Jurisprudence of that specific Country or International Legal Jurisprudence Worldwide.
      • Any landmark case / decision of International Courts (ICC / ICJ) or other Quasi Judicial Bodies which has made significant impact on the International Legal Jurisprudence Worldwide.

    • The submissions may be made under the following categories: the word limit is exclusive of footnotes:
      • Research Papers: 3500-10000 Words
      • Case Commentaries / Case Analyses: 2000-5000 Words
    • The submission must be original work of the author and must not be previously published or pending for review at any other journal/conference/book or other similar publication platforms and should not be submitted to any other journal/conference while the manuscript is in the process of review by LIJDLR. Any manuscript submitted in contravention of this submission guideline will outrightly be rejected.
    • The submission must be the original work of the authors and shall not be plagiarized. A Turnitin Plagiarism Check will be conducted by the Editorial Board. Also the submitted manuscript should be free from grammatical, spelling, and other typographical or similar errors which can diminish the quality of the Manuscript submitted. It must also not contain any defamatory content against any person, race, religion, cast, creed, political ideology, gender, or such other classes, categories or communities.
    • Submission must be accompanied by an abstract of not more than 300 words and author(s) affiliation. No manuscript will be accepted without an abstract.
    • All submissions must be made in .doc format. No pdf format will be entertained.

    Manuscript Publication Fee

    To sustain open-access publishing and maintain quality standards, LIJDLR charges a nominal publication fee:

    1. Indian Authors

    a. Single Author – INR 700 /-

    b. Two Co-Authors – INR 1000/-

    c. Three Co-Authors – INR 1200/-

    2. International Authors - USD 20

    Note: The fee does not include hard copies of certificates or printed booklets. These can be ordered separately at a nominal additional cost.

    Important Dates, Review & Publication Process

    • Submission Deadline: April 30, 2026.
    • One of LIJDLR's defining features is its efficient review and publication timeline. Acknowledgement & Review:
      • Authors receive acknowledgment within 24 hours of submission.
      • Reviews are conducted through a double-blind peer review system to ensure impartiality and fairness.
      • Initial Preliminary Review results are communicated within 72 hours.
      • Publication: Once accepted and pre-publication formalities are completed, manuscripts are published within 5–6 working days. In exceptional cases, publication may take up to 10 days.
      • Urgent Publication Requests: Authors with specific academic or professional deadlines may request urgent publication. Such requests are considered sympathetically by the Editorial Board.
