The tournament is conceived as a serious and enriching meeting ground for some of the sharpest young minds in the country, providing participants with a national platform to engage with the pressing questions of our time through structured argumentation, critical thinking, research, rebuttal and persuasive advocacy.
The tournament will be conducted in the 3v3 Asian Parliamentary Debate format. The Preliminary Rounds will be held online on 10–11 September 2026, followed by the Advanced Rounds on campus on 23 September 2026 at Maharishi Kanad Bhawan, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi. For institutional delegations, the delegation size will be N+1, comprising three participants and one adjudicator per team. The tournament has been structured to encourage broad participation while maintaining a rigorous competitive environment.
