HPNLU Shimla To Host LEXCELERATE'26: Legal Startup-Idea Pitching Contest On Access To Justice

The Legal Innovation and Incubation Cell of HPNLU Shimla is organising LEXCELERATE'26: A Legal Startup-Idea Pitching Contest, a Shark Tank-style competition where participants get an opportunity to present innovative startup ideas addressing existing problems in the legal ecosystem.
The theme for this edition is “Access to Justice”, and participants are encouraged to develop solutions that make justice more accessible, affordable, understandable, and inclusive. The idea may be at any stage, whether conceptual, at the prototype stage, or already operational. All the ideas are welcome.
Participants can take part individually or in teams of up to three members. The competition will be conducted in hybrid mode, and each team will have up to 10 minutes to present their pitch, followed by a question-and-answer session with the judges.

Registration Fee: ₹500/- per head
Registration Deadline: 03:00pm, 29 September 2026
Prize Pool: ₹12,000 for the winner and ₹8,000 for the runner-up, along with additional benefits and certificates.
