    Theme

“Unveiling the Shadows: Reassessing Legal Safeguards Against Social Injustices”

A nation's commitment to justice is assessed by its proactive protection of the vulnerable, rather than solely by its codified laws. Despite India's robust legal protections, a significant disparity exists between legislative assurances and actual experiences, often characterised by the unavailability of legal assistance. A right lacks of significance if an individual is unable to access the justice system for its enforcement, permitting social injustices to flourish in obscurity. The theme serves as a prompt to stimulate a critical discourse on the interaction between law, enforcement, and the vital role of legal aid.
