The School of Law, CHRIST University, announces Batch–3 of its Judicial Service Preparation Programme, to be conducted in online and offline modes. II. About Batch 3-Judicial Service Preparation: Online and offline
Christ University's School of Law has successfully completed the 2 batches of Judicial Service Preparation.
Achievements from Batch 1 and Batch 2:
· Batch 1 appeared for Karnataka Civil Judge Exams for Preliminary: 100% result
· Batch 2 appeared for Karnataka Civil Judge Exams for Mains: 33% reached to Interview stage
· Translation paper: 80% qualified
· Law Paper I: 20% qualified
· Law Paper II: 80% qualified
· Law Paper III: 80% qualified
School of Law, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bangalore, proposes to offer a Judicial Service Preparation, which is designed to comprehensively cover the judicial service examination syllabi prescribed by most States across the country. It aims to benefit judicial service aspirants nationwide by providing structured, rigorous, and exam-oriented preparation.
Eminent Resource Persons: Mr.V.S.R.Avadhani, Formerly Secretary General, Supreme Court of India, a few retired judges, academicians and other subject experts.
Eligibilty: Law graduates aspiring for judicial services, practicing advocates, academicians and in-service aspirants preparing for judicial service exams.
III. About Faculty Coordinator: Dr V Gopi Ranganath works as a Professor at School of Law, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bangalore. He has been a resource person for training judicial service aspirants since 2004 and has around 22 years of experience in this field.
He has been associated with Sree Digvijay Academy of Judicial Exams (Hyderabad), Padala Rama Reddi Law College (Hyderabad), NALSAR (Hyderabad), and Manikchand Pahade Law College (Aurangabad, Maharashtra).
So far Prof. Ranganath has trained 90 batches of aspirants. Some of them are currently working as Junior Civil Judges, Assistant Public Prosecutors, and District Judges in the States of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. He has also recently interacted with Civil Judge aspirants of the State of Karnataka through the virtual mode at Sree Vijetha Academy (Karnataka), Vidhipragyna Karnataka Law Academy (Karnataka).
Recently, Dr. Gopi Ranganath led preparatory sessions for 164 Civil Judges on Negotiable Instruments Act, aspiring to appear for the District Judge examinations.

V. Registration and mode of selection: Aspirants are required to register for the course. A confirmation email will be sent to the registered candidates with details regarding seat confirmation and the mode of payment.

VI. Fee structure: Rs. 40,000/- (including GST)
· Duration: Six months Judicial Service Preparation- Commences from February 23, 2026 to August 23, 2026.
· Online Platform: Google Meet
· Days and Timings: Monday-Saturday- 5.30 pm-8.30 pm (weekly six days)
· Holidays as per University Academic Calendar.
· Christites (alumni and students): Rs. 30,000/- (including GST)
VII. Important Dates:
· Last Date for Registration and Payment of fees: February 20, 2026.
Please note that fees are non-refundable once paid.
For offline aspirants: There will be no accommodation provided by the School of Law. The aspirant may stay near by paying guest hostels.
