The Indian Institute of Arbitration & Mediation (IIAM) has announced the registration opening for a comprehensive two-day, offline “Certificate Course on International Commercial Arbitration,” scheduled to be held on 29th and 30th November 2025 in New Delhi. This program aims to equip legal professionals and practitioners with both knowledge and practical expertise in the field of International Commercial Arbitration (ICA) — a vital dispute resolution mechanism in a globalized commercial environment. Participants who complete the training will have the opportunity to become Certified Commercial Arbitrators with international accreditation.
Gain International Accreditation and Become a Certified Commercial Arbitrator
The course is certified by the Asia Pacific Centre for Arbitration and Mediation (APCAM) and is designed to provide participants with an in-depth understanding of international arbitration law and practice. It includes focused sessions on the New York Convention (1958) the cornerstone of international arbitration and the enforcement of foreign arbitral awards.
Participants will be trained by globally renowned experts, including
1. Mr. Friedrich Rosenfeld, Partner at Hanefeld (Paris) and Global Adjunct Professor of Law at NYU Paris.
2. Mr. Anil Xavier, Senior Advocate, President of IIAM, and Chairman of APCAM.
3. Ms. Iram Majid, Advocate, Director of IIAM, and Executive Director of APCAM.
Upon successful completion, participants will receive international certification and become eligible for empanelment with IIAM and APCAM, enabling them to contribute to both domestic and international arbitration proceedings.
