The West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences (WBNUJS), Kolkata, has invited applications for admission to its various two-year Master's programmes for the academic session 2026–2027. The programmes are designed to develop advanced academic, professional, and research-oriented expertise in emerging and specialised fields.
Programmes Offered
The University is offering the following postgraduate programmes:
M.A. in Criminology and Criminal Justice Administration – Focused on the study of crime, criminal behaviour, justice systems, penology, and policy reform.
M.Sc. in Forensic Science – Emphasising scientific investigation, forensic analysis, and evidentiary applications within the justice system.
LL.M. in Data Science and Data Protection Law – Providing advanced legal training in data governance, privacy, cybersecurity, and emerging digital technologies.
About WBNUJS
The West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences (WBNUJS), Kolkata, was established under the WBNUJS Act, 1999 (West Bengal Act IX of 1999). The University is recognised under sub-section 2(f) and Section 12(b) of the University Grants Commission (UGC). Its B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) and B.Sc. LL.B. (Hons.) programmes are affiliated with the Bar Council of India.
The Hon'ble Chief Justice of India serves as the Chancellor of the University and Chairman of its highest governing body, the General Council.
Despite its relatively short existence, WBNUJS has firmly established itself as one of India's premier National Law Universities.
