The 2020 edition of the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT), for admission in to National Law Universities across the country, has been postponed to June 21.

The decision was taken during a meeting of the Consortium of National Law Universities, in wake of the nationwide lockdown triggered by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Notifying the same, CLAT 2020 Convenor, Prof. Balraj Chauhan, who is the Vice Chancellor of Dharmashastra National Law University (DNLU) Jabalpur, informed that the deadline for online applications has also been extended to May 18.

The entrance test will take place from 3pm to 5pm.

This is the second postponement of the CLAT this year, owing to the lockdown and Corona Virus outbreak. The entrance exam was initially scheduled to take place on May 10, which was later postponed to May 24.
