About REVĀ Fest
REVĀ is DNLU's flagship academic and cultural festival, named after the Sanskrit term “रेवा,” symbolizing movement, agility, and the essence of Jabalpur, also associated with the River Narmada and a revered Indian classical Raag. The fest brings together students from across the country for an exciting blend of academic rigor and cultural vibrancy, featuring events such as Youth Parliament, Deal Negotiation, Crime Scene Investigation, Short Film Competition, Moot Court, Quizzes, and dynamic cultural competitions like Singing, Dancing, Rap Battles, E-Games, and Open Mic—culminating in electrifying pro nights including a Concert, Celebrity Debate, Stand-Up Comedy, and DJ Night, creating an unforgettable and immersive three-day experience.
About the Opportunity
Building on the success of its inaugural year, DNLU proudly announces the second edition of the REVĀ National Moot Court Competition 2026, an intellectually stimulating platform designed to simulate real courtroom proceedings. The competition enhances advocacy, legal research, drafting, and analytical skills while fostering teamwork and professional camaraderie among law students.
Theme
The proposition revolves around Criminal and Constitutional Law, focusing on the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023 and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 (POCSO Act). It examines issues relating to consensual adolescent relationships, age-gap exemptions, and constitutional challenges under Articles 14, 19, and 21.
Eligibility
● Open to students pursuing a 5-year integrated LL.B. or a 3-year LL.B. programme in India.
● Each institution may send a maximum of two teams.
● Team composition:
a. 3-member team: Two speakers + One researcher
b. 2-member team: Both participants must be speakers
Registration Fee
● Round-I (Memorial Qualification Round): INR 1000 per team
● Round-II (Oral Rounds):
a. INR 800 per person (without accommodation)
b. INR 1500 per person (with accommodation & food)

Registration Process
1. Provisional Registration: Institutions must reserve their slot via their Moot Court Society by emailing mcc@mpdnlu.ac.in.
2. Round-I Registration: Upon confirmation, teams must complete the Google Form (https://forms.gle/wjNJrfU4NPPSjieB8 ) and pay INR 1000 before 10 March 2026 (extended).
3.Post-Qualification (Round II): The top 16 teams who qualify must complete registration and payment before 01 April 2026.
