    With immense pleasure, we are glad to announce that IMS Unison University (School of Law), Dehradun is organizing its inaugural National Trial Advocacy Competition (9th - 10th February 2024). A Trial Advocacy Competition is a method of clinical education with a model court trial offered through simulation. It teaches the law students in practice before the Criminal Court.

    The competition will be held in Offline mode at the university campus.

    ELIGIBILITY

    Students pursuing a 3-year or 5-year course of LLB degree or LLM degree from any recognized law school/colleges/university in India are eligible to participate.

    Participants shall carry their college identity card for the purpose of identification during the said competition.

    TEAM COMPOSITION

    Each team shall consist of 3 members, and this number shall not be subject to change under any circumstances. There can be two speakers and one researcher designated for each team.

    REGISTRATION

    Each team is required to fill the details in the Google Form for the purpose of registration.

    WINNING TEAM – Cash Prize of Rs. 21,000 along with an internship opportunity at MZM LEGAL LLP

    RUNNER-UP TEAM – Cash Prize of Rs.12,000 along with certified course from LawInternships.

    BEST ADVOCATE – Cash Prize of Rs. 3,500

    BEST RESEARCHER – Cash Prize of Rs. 3,500

    BEST MEMORIAL – Cash Prize of Rs. 3,500

    BEST WITNESS – Cash Prize of Rs. 2,500

    NOTE:

    • The Awardees shall be given a Certificate of Excellence.
    • The Semi-Finalists shall be given a Certificate of Merit.
    • A Certificate of Participation will be given to each participant.
