    ALTERNATE DISPUTE RESOLUTION(ADR)

Alternate Dispute Resolution (ADR) refers to methods of resolving disputes outside traditional courts, promoting amicable settlements with or without a neutral third party. Common ADR methods include:

Arbitration – A formal process where parties present their case to an arbitral tribunal, which issues a binding and final award.

Mediation – A non-binding process where a neutral mediator facilitates discussions to help

parties reach a mutually acceptable settlement.

Conciliation – Similar to mediation but with a more active role by the conciliator in suggesting

    solutions to resolve the dispute.

Negotiation – A voluntary and direct discussion between parties to settle disputes without third-

    party intervention.
