NLU Delhi Wins India Qualifiers, Brown Mosten Client Consultation World Rounds 2025

The Brown Mosten International Client Consultation Competition is a globally recognized competition, helping law students refine their practical legal skills by simulating real-world client-attorney consultations. This event offers participants a platform to showcase their expertise in interviewing, counseling and problem-solving within a professional setting. Every year, the world rounds for this competition are held at unique locations where winning teams from national qualification rounds are invited to represent their country and compete. The 2025 world rounds are scheduled to be held between April 9-12 at The University of Glasgow, Scotland.
The 2025 India qualifier rounds were held between 14-16 February at Lloyd Law College, Greater Noida, NCR. A record 52 teams participated in this edition, out of which 6 teams qualified for the semi-finals, and 2 teams proceeded to the finals.
The team representing National Law University, Delhi – comprising Arjun Mahesh Guru and Kushagra Sharma – emerged as winners and have qualified as the sole team to represent India at the world rounds. The team was ranked second in the preliminary rounds, first in the semi-finals, and eventually secured the winning position in the final round. The team representing MNLU Mumbai, Arjun Kapur and Akshat Joon secured the Runners-up position.
