    The Kirit P. Mehta School of Law (KPMSOL) of SVKM's NMIMS (Deemed-to-be-University) established in the year 2013 and approved by the Bar Council of India aims to provide quality legal education to meet the aforementioned challenges. They at Kirit P. Mehta School of Law inculcate and nourish all professional virtues in a well-calculated and planned manner, without undermining the 'societal values'. The 'Legal Skills' built by KPMSOL during the 5 years should enrich a student to convert challenges into 'benchmarks' in the legal world and withstand economic, social, political, and judicial scrutiny.

    Kirit P. Mehta School of Law, NMIMS aims to refine students' competency by engaging them in curricular and extra-curricular activities. Qualified faculties and support staff assist learners to easily integrate into the course and participate in events. The School of Law engages in case study models and class-debate methods as its chief teaching pedagogy. SOL has uniquely incorporated compulsory credit-based Internship and Moot Court as subjects.

    The National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) has been constituted under the Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987 to provide free Legal Services to the weaker sections of the society and to organize Lok Adalats for amicable settlement of disputes. Dr. Justice D. Y. Chandrachud, The Chief Justice of India is the Patron-in-Chief. In every State, the State Legal Services Authority has been constituted to give effect to the policies and directions of the NALSA and to give free legal services to the people and conduct Lok Adalats in the State. The State Legal Services Authority is headed by the Chief Justice of the respective High Court who is the Patron-in-Chief of the State Legal Services Authority. A Seniormost Judge of the High Court is nominated as Executive Chairman, of SLSA. In every District, the District Legal Services Authority has been constituted to implement Legal Services Programmes in the District. The District Legal Services Authority is situated in the District Courts Complex in every District and chaired by the District Judge of the respective district. A Civil Judge Cadre Judicial Officer is appointed as Secretary on a full-time basis.

Prerana strives to ensure the optimum protection of children. This is reflected in the broad spectrum of interventions that provide a continuum of care by addressing issues of child sexual abuse in parallel with anti-human trafficking. Since its establishment in 1986, Prerana's pioneering efforts have been instrumental in supporting victims through the entire cycle from prevention to repatriation.
