    Details About The Conference

Gender equality is not only a fundamental human right but a necessary foundation for a peaceful, prosperous, sustainable world. It is important to observe that sex is biological manifestation, while gender is a social tag that is based on certain pre-defined norms. The Constitution of India guarantees equality before the law and equal opportunity for all, yet overcoming discrimination and prejudice remains a long journey.

Additionally, Goal 5 of the Sustainable Development Goals 2015 aims for gender equality by 2030. Achieving these calls for resilience against persistent barriers. To achieve an overall development, the marginalized genders must engage socially, economically and politically on a larger level. In this backdrop MNLU, Nagpur is organizing the 2nd National Conference on “Gender Justice: Breaking Stereotypes, Discriminations and Prejudices.”

Mode Of The Conference: Location And Venue

The Conference shall be held in hybrid mode. The participants can choose to present either in online mode or at the campus of Maharashtra National Law University, Nagpur.
