    The Judges of the Allahabad High Court Officers/Officials of the Registry and other Officers/Officials of the subordinate courts have contributed a sum of Rs. 3,31,06,849/- towards the Prime Minister's Relief Fund, in view of the impending threat of COVID-19 pandemic.

    Additionally, the high court Judges both in Prayagraj and in Lucknow have been providing food packets to the district administration for distribution to the needy people in the city. The Judicial Research and Training Institute at Lucknow has in fact established a kitchen in its premises where from 125 food packets per day are provided to the District Administration, Lucknow for distribution among the needy people.

    Inter alia, the High Court Chief Justice, Justice Govind Mathur has contributed an additional sum of Rs. 1 Lakh towards the Chief Minister's Distress Relief Fund. A cheque for the same was handed over to the District Magistrate, Prayagraj on Sunday.

    The High Court has also provided 10 suites at the High Court Guest House, Drummond Road to the District Administration for their use as quarantine centers.
