Businessman and Chairman of Reliance Group, Anil Ambani has filed a defamation case before a Delhi Court against Cobrapost, Economic Times and others over allegedly defamatory reporting, claiming that his companies committed a fraud of over Rs. 41,000 crores.
The matter was listed before senior civil judge Vivek Beniwal of Karkardooma Courts.
The Court heard the arguments made on behalf of Ambani on the application seeking ex-parte ad interim injuction against the defendants in the suit.
“List for orders on the interim injuction application and for consideration of the main suit on 17.11.2025,” the judge ordered.
The suit names the following as defendants: Cobrapost.com, Live Media and Publishers Private Limited, Bennet Coleman and Company Limited and John Doe (unknown entities).
Ambani was represented by Advocates Vijay Aggarwal, Naman Joshi, Guneet Sidhu, Rahul, Verdan Jain, Muskan Aggarwal, Rajat Jain and Yash Aggarwal.
