    Owing to the improving Covid-19 situation in Maharashtra, the Bombay High Court has decided to suspend hearing matters virtually and resume full physical functioning from February 14 till March 4.

    The decision to switch to physical hearings was taken by the Bombay High Court's administrative committee during a meeting with all High Court Bar Associations. Representatives from the BMC were also present.

    "It was decided that effective from February 14, 2022 till 4th March, 2022, the principal bench of the Bombay High Court will operate physically from 10.30 am to 4.30 pm. Litigants shall not be permitted in High Court premises as per the earlier SOPs," according to a notice issued by the Bombay Bar Association.

    Additionally, mentioning will be permitted physically for all matters and subject to the discretion of each individual bench, till 4th March, 2022, senior citizen - advocates and lady advocates may be permitted to appear in hybrid format.

    As February 14 has been declared a holiday, Court will function on 26th February, Saturday.
