    Duty Metropolitan Magistrate Richa Parihar of Karkardooma court today directed jail authorities to provide immediate medical treatment to Moinuddin, one of the accused  arrested  in connection with alleged violence that took place during the anti-CAA protests which took place at Seelampur last week.

    An application was filed today at the Karkardooma district court for provision of medical treatment to the arrested as his right hand thumb had been amputated in the violence that had ensued in Seelampur. It was also asserted in the application that he required plastic surgery as well.

    The Duty MM in her Order noted that the injury was of serious nature and required immediate attention. Notice was issued to the Jail Superintendent to provide medical treatment without delay and to file a report on the same by 25.12.2019.
