Centre Notifies Appointment Of 5 New Judges To Rajasthan High Court

The Central government has notified the appointment of five new judges(three advocates and two judicial officers) to Rajasthan High Court.

The five new judges are:

1. Farzand Ali;

2. Sudesh Bansal;

3. Anoop Kumar Dhand;

4. Vinod Kumar Bharwani; and

5. Madan Gopal Vyas.

Farzand Ali, Sudesh Bansal and Anoop Kumar Dhand are Advocates. Vinod Kumar Bharwani and Madan Gopal Vyas are judicial officers.

On September 1, 2021, the Supreme Court had recommended the above names, in addition to two more names, for elevation as judges to Rajasthan High Court.

The collegium also reiterated the recommendation for Farzand Ali, who was first recommended in July 2019.
