Chhattisgarh High Court Celebrates 77th Republic Day With Solemnity

The High Court of Chhattisgarh, Bilaspur, celebrated the 77th Republic Day with solemnity and patriotic fervour on Monday at the High Court premises.
The programme commenced with Justice Ramesh Sinha, Chief Justice of the High Court of Chhattisgarh, paying floral tributes to the statues of Mahatma Gandhi and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar at the High Court premises, thereby honouring the architects of the nation and reaffirming the values enshrined in the Constitution of India.
Thereafter, he proceeded to the flag post and unfurled the National Flag. The programme continued with the playing of the National Anthem, followed by the rendition of “Vande Mataram,” creating an atmosphere of national pride, unity and patriotic fervour.
A ceremonial march-past by the Police personnel and NCC Cadets was held on the occasion, displaying discipline and commitment to the nation. The Chief Justice acknowledged the parade and later presented mementoes to the parade commanders in appreciation of their exemplary performance.
After the ceremonial proceedings, the Chief Justice interacted with the invited dignitaries and visited the exhibition stall, where aircraft models prepared by NCC Cadets were displayed.
Present on the occasion were Judges of the High Court along with their spouses and family members, Officers of the Registry, the Advocate General, Members of the High Court Bar, Officers and Staff of the Advocate General's Office, Judicial Officers, Police Officials, NCC Cadets, Officers and staff of the High Court, citizens and other invited dignitaries.
The Republic Day celebration at the High Court reaffirmed the institution's dedication to constitutional values, justice, unity and the democratic ideals of the nation.
