The Bombay Bar Association on Sunday took out a notice stating that the Association Trust is contributing Rs.10 lakh to the Prime Minister's Relief Fund for combating the pandemic of Corona Virus.

Notice authored by BBA Secretary and Senior Advocate Dr.Birendra Saraf, states-

"Like the entire world, India is facing one of its worst crises as it fights the pandemic of Covid-19. As you are aware, there is a desperate need for resources both for medical facilities and also for our fellow countrymen who have lost their daily livelihood and are struggling for survival."

Members of the Bar Association have been called upon to make "large-hearted contributions" to the PM's fund-

"Our members in the past have risen to help in various natural disasters. These are extraordinary times and we are confident that our members will make the maximum contribution they can."

Yesterday, Justice NV Ramana of the Supreme Court, donated three lakh rupees in total, with one lakh rupees each to PM Relief Fund, AP Chief Minister's Relief Fund and Telangana Chief Minister's Relief Fund for helping in the fight against the deadly virus.
