    A Sessions court at Palanpur in Gujarat's Banaskantha district today sentenced former IPS officer Sanjiv Bhatt to 20 years in jail in the 1996 drug-planting case. He was sentenced to 20 years imprisonment under NDPS sections 21(c), 27A (punishment for financing illicit traffic and harbouring offenders). A fine of Rs 2 lakh has also been imposed upon him.
