Law Ministry Publishes Hindi Translations Of 13 Acts Including Farm Laws, Transgender Act & FCRA Amendment

The Ministry of Law and Justice published Hindi translation of 13 laws including Farm Laws, Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Act, FCRA Amendment Act.These shall be deemed to be the authoritative texts thereof in Hindi under clause (a) of sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Official Languages Act, 1963, the notification published in E-Gazette today reads. The following are the laws included in the notification dated February 25, 2021. (1) The Company (Amendment) Act, 2019; (2) The Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Act, 2019; (3) The Chit Funds (Amendment) Act, 2019; (4) The Prohibition of Electronic Cigarettes (Production, Manufacture, Import, Export, Transport, Sale, Distribution, Storage and Advertisement) Act, 2019; (5) The Recyciling of Ship Act, 2019; (6) The Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (Amendment) Act, 2020; (7) The Mineral Laws (Amendment) Act, 2020; (8) The Direct Tax Vivad se Vishwas Act, 2020; (9) The Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement on Price Assurance And Farm Services Act, 2020; (10) The Farmers Produce Trade And Commerce (Promotion And Facilitation) Act, 2020; (11) The Essential Commodities (Amendment) Act, 2020; (12) The Bilateral Netting of Qualified Financial Contracts Act, 2020 (13) The Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Amendment Act, 2020The Official Languages Act provide for the languages which may be used for the official purpose of the Union, for transaction of business in Parliament, for Central and State Acts and for certain purpose in High Courts.As per Section 5 (1), a translation in Hindi published under the authority of the President in the Official Gazette on and after the appointed day Of any Central Act or of any Ordinance promulgated by the President, or of any order, rule, regulation or bye-law issued under the Constitution or under any Central Act. shall be deemed to be the authoritative text thereof in Hindi.Click here to Read/Download Notification
