The camp was organised by the Jharkhand High Court Legal Services Committee in association with the Advocates' Association, High Court of Jharkhand; Ranchi Police; Sadar Hospital, Ranchi; High Court Employees' Co-operative Society Ltd., Ranchi; Voluntary Blood Donors Association; and Jharkhand Thalassemia Foundation.

The camp was held from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. A notice regarding the camp had also been issued by the Registrar General of the Jharkhand High Court.

Hon'ble Mr. Justice Mahesh Sharadchandra Sonak, Chief Justice of the Jharkhand High Court, was the Chief Guest at the event. The programme was also attended by Judges of the Jharkhand High Court and other dignitaries.

The initiative encouraged members of the High Court fraternity to participate in blood donation and contribute towards meeting the needs of patients requiring blood. The notice stated that one unit of donated blood can be separated into three different blood components and provided to patients according to their requirements, thereby potentially helping three people through a single blood donation.

While rendering the vote of thanks, Hon'ble Mr. Justice Ananda Sen specially highlighted the High Court's contribution of a significant number of blood units every year to the Government Sadar Hospital Blood Bank, Ranchi, for the benefit of thalassemia patients. He noted that this contribution helps ensure that life-saving blood remains accessible to patients in need.

Justice Sen also expressed gratitude to the Jharkhand Police, lawyers, officers and staff members of the High Court of Jharkhand, the Thalassemia Foundation and all other organisations involved in the initiative.
