SC Collegium Recommends Re-Transfer Of Justice Pramath Patnaik To Orissa HC

The Supreme Court Collegium has recommended re-transfer of Justice Pramath Patnaik to Orissa High Court.

The collegium comprising CJI Ranjan Gogoi, Justices AK Sikri, SA Bobde, NV Ramana and Arun Mishra accepted Justice Patnaik request seeking re-transfer to the High Court of the state from where he hails from.

It said: "The Collegium, acceding to his request, resolves to recommend that Mr. Justice Pramath Patnaik, Judge, Jharkhand High Court, be re-transferred, in the interest of better administration of justice, to Orissa High Court."

Justice Patnaik has been serving in the Jharkhand High Court since 22nd December, 2014. He was appointed as Additional Judge of Orissa High Court on 24th September, 2014.
