Man Shot Dead Inside Lawyer's Chamber In Dwarka District Court Complex

On Monday night, a 42-year-old man was shot dead for an unknown reason inside a lawyer's chamber in Dwarka Court Complex, reported The Hindu.

The 42-year-old murdered man, who has been identified as Swikar Luthrawas by DCP (Dwarka) Santosh Kumar Meena, was linked to several criminal cases.

The police have filed a case under section 302 (punishment for murder) of IPC and have begun the investigation and they suspect that the absconding person has shot Luthra. 

As reported by Police sources, the incident took place around 9 p.m. when the deceased was visiting lawyer Arun Sharma in his chamber.

"There were four others inside the chamber out of which one is absconding. Teams are looking for him and questioning is underway with the other three accused present inside," said a senior police officer, adding that CCTV footage has been obtained and examined.

As reported by The Hindu (quoting sources), an argument broke out between the deceased and the suspect (now absconding) after which he took out a pistol and shot Luthra.

Thereafter, he was taken to a nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead.
