Centre Notifies Appointments Of Chief Justices Of High Courts Of MP, AP, Kerala, Rajasthan, Gauhati, HP &Sikkim

The President has notified the appointments of Chief Justices in six High Courts. 

They are :

1. Justice Ajai Lamba (judge of Allahabad HC) as CJ of Guahati HC
2. Justice Arup K Goswami (Judge of Gauhati HC) as CJ of Sikkim HC.
3. Justice J K Maheshwari (Judge of Madhya Pradesh HC) as CJ of Andhra Pradesh HC
4. Justice L Narayana Swami (Judge of Karnataka HC) as CJ of Himachal Pradesh HC
5. Justice S Manikumar (Judge of Madras HC) as CJ of Kerala HC.
6. Justice Indrajit Mohanty (Judge of Bombay HC) as CJ of Rajasthan HC.

The former Chief Justices of High Courts of Rajasthan, HP, Kerala, Justices Ravindra Bhat, Ramasubramanian and Hrishikesh Roy were elevated to Supreme Court last month.
