The Delhi University has informed the Delhi High Court that the results for the final year examinations of all undergraduate and postgraduate courses will be declared by November 30.

The said submission was made by the University's counsel Mr Mohinder Rupal before the Division Bench of Justice Hima Kohli and Justice Subramonium Prasad.

The present application pertains to the writ petition titled Prateek Sharma v. Delhi University wherein the court had disposed of the plea by directing the University to adhere to its timeline and declare the results for all the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes by the last week of October.

Further, the court had directed the Delhi University to ensure that the results and the mark sheets are uploaded online on the University's website and no student is forced to physically come and collect the same. The University had to ensure that the online mark sheet does not carry any rider or footnote which suggests that the said mark sheet requires any further verification.

'Marksheet download from the website shall be usable for all the purposes', the court had said.

The present application was moved by the Petitioner by citing that the University has not adhered to its timeline and the results for some courses are still pending.

The court deferred the orders in the present application to await the final decision of the Delhi University.

The matter will now be taken up on December 02.
