NLIU, Bhopal wins G.H. Raisoni Law School’s 1st National Trial Advocacy Moot Court Competition 2015

  • NLIU, Bhopal wins G.H. Raisoni Law School’s 1st National Trial Advocacy Moot Court Competition 2015

    G.H. Raisoni Law School, recently organized 1st National Trial Advocacy Moot Court Competition 2015 in which the team from National Law Institute University(NLIU), Bhopal won the competition whereas Pravin Gandhi College of Law (PGCL), Mumbai finished up as the runners up team.

    The winning team received a cash prize of Rs.11, 000 and a trophy which was sponsored by Dewani Associates whereas   runners up team were awarded with the second prize of Rs. 7000/- and a trophy, Sponsored by Dewani Associates. The best Trial Advocate was bagged by Ms. Pankhudi Khandelwal of NLIU, Bhopal with a cash prize of  Rs. 3500/- and a trophy sponsored by Adv. M.G. Bhangde and the second best Trial Advocate was bagged by Ms. Akanksha Indoria of PGCL, Mumbai which was sponsored by Adv. Mohit Khanjanchi. The Best Judgment writer was awarded to Ms. Drishti Modi with a cash prize of 2500/- of PGCL, Mumbai and a trophy sponsored by Shri. Vishnu Narera and the Best Memorial was bagged by PGCL, Mumbai with cash prize of Rs. 2500/- and a trophy which was sponsored by Shri. Pannalal Shahu. The best witness was awarded to Mr. Vishwaverdhan Narera of G. H. Raisoni Law School, Nagpur which was sponsored by Dewani Associates.

    The institution also felicitated the meritorious alumni of the college who were Ms. Khushboo Chhajed, Ms. Pranjali Madnani, Mr. Anurag Upadhyay, Mr. Mihir Puranik, Ms. Kanika Acharya, Mr. Prakash Rawlani and Mr. Rahul Kishnani with the letter appreciation, floral bouquet and memento.

    The event concluded with a valedictory function which was graced by the presence of legal luminaries such as Hon’ble Shri Justice S.B. Shukre, Judge Bombay High Court, as the Chief Guest, Hon’ble Shri Justice M.N. Gilani (Retd.)  Judge Bombay High Court, Nagpur Bench, who chaired the function and Dr. Jayant Aparajit, Director, G.H. Raisoni Law School.
