  • RMLNLU announces International Legal Essay Competition Results

    The Journal Committee of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University announced the results of Second RMLNLU International Legal Essay Competition 2014.

    Mr. Justin Jos from National Law Univeristy, Odisha India emerged as the winner of the Second RMLNLU International Legal Essay Competition (RILEC), 2014. As the winner, Justin will receive a cash prize of INR 15,000, a Certificate of Merit and a letter of recommendation from Prof.Gurdip Singh, Vice-Chancellor of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University and the Honorary Head of the Executive Panel of Judges for Second RILEC, 2014.

    Lakshana CV from National Law University Jodhpur, India and MohnaaShrivastava from Amity Law School, New Delhi, India, came first and second runners' up respectively. As first runner-up, Lakshana shall receive a cash prize of INR 10,000 along with a Certificate of Merit and Mohnaa as the second runner-up shall receive a cash prize of INR 5,000 and a Certificate of Merit.

    Moreover, the top seven entries will also receive a Certificate of Appreciation for their insightful contribution to the competition. The top seven entries in the competition were made by:

    4.            Mohitmaheshwari, NLU Jodhpur

    6.            Jindal Dadiya, NLSIU, Bangalore

    7.            BhagirathAshiya, School of Law, Christ University

    RILEC, the flagship essay writing competition of the Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University witnesses participation from both India and abroad. This year the theme of the competition was International Criminal Law.
