SC Issues Notice Inviting Applications For Allotment Of Lawyer Chambers [Read Notice]

The Supreme Court has issued a notice inviting applications for allotment of lawyer chambers. It lists down the eligibility criteria for updating the existing Panels for allotment of chambers.

As per the notice, the link for filling up online applications has been enabled from 10:00 am on Wednesday and will be active till 5:00 pm on 28 February.

It further clarifies that in case of Senior Advocates and those who are not Advocates-on-Record, only the Certified/ Office Copies of the record of proceedings showing appearances would accepted as proof of appearance. In case of Advocates-on-Record, the proof of appearance would be the list issued by the Deputy Registrar (CC) of the Apex Court. Further, appearances made 'in person' or as 'litigant' would not be taken into consideration.
