  • Short Term Certificate Course on Gender Justice: Emerging Issues, Trend And Challenges
    A Short Term Certificate Course on ‘Gender Justice- Emerging Issues, Trends and Challenges’ is being organised by the Rajiv Gandhi School of Intellectual Property Law, IIT Kharagpur. It is a 5 days course from March 6-10, 2017.

    The course is aimed at acquainting the participants with the concept of gender justice and its emerging dimensions in a global scenario. It focuses on the understanding of the laws, its procedural intricacies and judicial decisions aimed at strengthening the position of women at home and outside. Emerging issues like sexual harassment at workplace will be discussed along with the challenges ingrained therein. On successful completion of the course, the participants will have a holistic understanding of the legal framework and its implementation mechanism to safeguard the interests of women in society.

    Interested Faculty members, practitioners, research scholars and students may join the course on payment of registration fees. The number of participants is limited to 25.

    Course Fee:

    • Course Fee for Industry: Rs. 10000/-

    • Course Fee for Faculty: Rs. 3000/-

    • Course Fee for Research Scholars/Students: Rs. 3000/-


    Course fees may be paid in form of Demand Draft or electronic money transfer.

    Course Fee includes course materials, tea and snacks during the days of the course. Certificates will be given on successful completion.

    • Intimation to participants: 24 February, 2017

    • Course Dates: 6th -10th March, 2017
