Pasha: The matters should be transferred to SIT- particularly these 9 incidents and the one your lordships took cognisance of...these should be named and transferred.

Pasha: Compensation has been announced prior to suo moto cognisance. The compensation must be given at the stage when 164 statement is recorded.

Pasha: Instead of jurisdictional magistrate, magistrate of whichever district victim located in should record 164 statement.

Pasha: One stop centres should be strengthened in Manipur - they should be supported by manpower and infrastructure. Centres which exist and which were formed pursuant to Nirbhaya scheme- should particularly promote community participation for trust

Pasha: These instances show police working against victims- either not lodging FIRs or turning the victims to the mobs...

Adv Nizam Pasha: I have filed an IA in the Zomi Students matter. I've placed on record 9 FIRs as samples and 5 instances where we couldn't track FIRs - so 14 incidents of violence against women which are equally or more heinous than the matter taken suo moto cognisance of.

Counsel: There are kidnapping and missing person reports. Noone knows where they are. That should be considered.
