Essential Qualifications

Principal

1. A Master’s Degree in Law (regular) with atleast 55% marks (or at equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system Is followed) from a recognized university.
2. A Ph.D. Degree In law (NET/SLET in case of candidates whose Ph.D. in accordance with the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Awards of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009).
3. A total experience of fifteen years of teaching law/research in law/ administration in Universities, Colleges and other institutions of higher education
4. A Minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS) , as set out in UGC Regulations.
5. Any other requirement as per UGC & BCI norms.

Assistant Professor

1. A Master’s Degree in Law (regular) with atleast 55% marks (or at equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system Is followed) from a recognized university.
2. A Ph.D. Degree In law (NET/SLET in case of candidates whose Ph.D. in accordance with the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Awards of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009).
3. Any other requirement as per UGC & BCI norms
