Court directs Counsels in Item 8 to serve Union of India. They note that CBSE’s Counsel is present in Court.
Matter will now be heard next week.

Court: All States are not parties. Entire country will have to be served.

Justice Sanjiv Khanna notes that the compartment exams are for those who have failed. He states that these exams are held thrice. Further, Central Universities close their admissions earlier.

Court: The solution has to come from CBSE, or some other agency.

Tankha: Either UGC can be directed to admit the students provisionally, or to ensure that the marks are declared early.
Court: But, because of compartment, there will be no percentage. This is a peculiar year.

Tankha: The system was always that the exams took place before college admissions. Now, because of COVID, this is the state.
