As per the CJI, making digital infrastructure accessible to persons with disabilities is a constitutional and statutory duty. In conformity with the same, he has suggested a series of structural interventions for all High Courts of India.

The e-committee of the Supreme Court has strived to make the digital infrastructure of the Indian Judicial system more accessible to persons with disabilities which has been a core component of the e-committee's work.

The measures for making digital infrastructure accessible is a significant step in enabling legal professionals with disabilities to participate in the profession on the same footing as their able-bodied counterparts and it is a way forward in creating an accessible and inclusive legal system.
