      The Bench directed the SGI to form a committee comprising of the members of Government and Members of all the Farmers Association of India to engage in talks and come to an amicable solution.

      CJI: what is the problem when farmers are ready. Give us some names of organization.

      Adv. Rahul Mehta representing Nct of Delhi intervened: Tthis Issue purely concerns the UOI. If they agree to demands then they will stop. There has been no representation made to NCT of Delhi. Something should be done immediately. Your lords.

      "Govt was ready and is ready. But Difficulty is their approach is either you repeal the laws or don't. Its either yes or no. They come with placards of yes or no. There was an occasion when the ministers had gone to talk, they showed their backs to the ministers." SGI continued.

      SGI: Govt is in talks with some of the organizations. I cannot recall the names. I can give the names of you like Bhartiya Kisan Union. Now some other interests have also been taken by these farmers. It's my duty to inform your lords that the govt is engaing in talks.

      CJI: Who has prevented farmers to come to Delhi?

      SGI: The police has. Yes. This is a law and order situation yourlordship.

      CJI: You are the only party who was there on the spot before us. Give us the names of agitators or farmers organizations you were engaged with.

      Supreme Court informs the SG that tentatively a Committee will be formed with members of all farmers organisations from the rest of India.

      “Otherwise this will soon become a national issue. It seems government may not be able to work out”.
