Justice KT Thomas, Former Supreme Court Judge, Conferred Padma Vibhushan

Justice K.T. Thomas, former Judge of the Supreme Court of India, has been conferred with the Padma Vibhushan, India's second-highest civilian award.

Justice Thomas served as a Judge of the Supreme Court from 1995 to 2002.

He was honoured with Padma Bhushan in 2017.

During his tenure, he authored several landmark judgments on criminal law and constitutional law.

He started his judicial career as District and Sessions Judge in 1977. He was appointed as a Judge of the High Court of Kerala in 1985.
