      Kamat : There can be a law prescribing uniforms. For eg, Bar Council can prescribe a dress code for advocates. The point is if the restrictions are compatible with fundamental rights and are reasonable.

      Kamat refers to another judgment which holds that what to wear is part of right to privacy and expression.

      Justice Dixit notes :AG vociferously objected to the statement of Mr Kamat as regards segregation of any students as stated in the affidavit. He states that such baseless allegations should not be made since they have danger potential in a sensitive society like ours.

      Justice Dixit says the point is whether it has been adopted and not just referred.
