      CJI: We don’t want to say anything.

      J Surya Kant: It's unfortunate to observe that the media is misrepresenting the facts.

      CJI: There is no question of continuing officers who are in the field. Because of their conduct, we don’t expect an investigation will take place. Please direct DGP to ensure that all evidence is kept safe.

      CJI: We have respect for you, we hope the state will take necessary steps; because of the sensitivity of the issue, we aren’t making any comments. CBI is also not the solution, for reasons you know. Better some other mode you find out, we’ll take up immediately after vacation.
