[Live Updates] Delhi Riots Case Hearing In SC : Plea To Register FIR For Hate Speeches

After these speeches were made, people got instigated says Gonsalves.

CJI : We have granted you a hearing because you said DHC is not hearing you. Now come to that point

Gonsalves says that the slogan “goli maaro..” by Parvesh Verma was what had instigated 100’s of people.

Gonsalves further reiterates that the hate speech was coupled with mobilisation of people. Says this was actually instigating people for murder!

Gonsalves now takes the dias and makes submissions regarding the alleged callousness of the Police that ensued during the #DelhiRiots.

CJI to SG: Are you saying they have no right to approach this forum? Be careful of what words are used. File an affidavit regarding the speeches, will you?

SG says it will be filed today at 2 pm

SG says that now they have now filed a new petition through other people because they have realised they have themselves made inflammatory speeches. These riot victims are only sponsored and instigated by Mander!

SG : Surprising that they want us to take cognisance of speeches that they’re alleging but is refusing to accept the veracity of Mander’s video clips!
