      Jethmalani: Court has said that order made on March 31 against misreporting and fake news is an order under Section 188 IPC, which is a cognisable offence.

      Jethmalani: To say that these quarantine centres were not more than detention centres - he was trying to dissuade people from being sent to them, he was trying to spread disease by saying all this. He has also not refuted this in his rejoinder.

      Jethmalani: He has said that stones were thrown by a particular community because they thought they were being sent to detention centres. He said “people are saying this” - first sign of a rumour.

      This story of his was false, if it is false, he is guilty of inciting violence.
