Supreme Court to hear today Centre's application for quashing of 13 FIRs registered over #StudentProtests in Delhi
The Centre, invoking Article 142, has further sought leave from the Court to register 1 fresh FIR against 2873 protesting persons with criminal antecedents
As per its application, no further FIR shall be registered in relation to the same incident

Supreme Court to hear today the suo motu case taken up over a chapter on 'Corruption in Judiciary' in #NCERT's Class 8 social science textbook (since withdrawn)
Bench: CJI Surya Kant, Justice Joymalya Bagchi and Justice V Mohana
Earlier, the Court recalled its order banning 3 academics who were involved in the preparation of the chapter from academic projects of Central or State Universities and public educational institutions
The Court clarified that the Union and the States may take an independent decision on associating these academics for academic projects.
