#SupremeCourt to continue hearing plea by Gautam Buddh Nagar District Magistrate Medha Roopam to pay Rs. 5 lakh in compensation from her salary for the detention of student Akriti Chaudhary under the National Security Act in connection with the Noida workers' protest.

Plea seeks SOP for recording, and preservation of footage, saying that there is need for accountability and protection of both police and protesters.
The matter will be heard by a division bench headed by Acting Chief Justice Nitin Wasudeo Sambre.
