Rajasthan Political Crisis : HC Hearing On Sachin Pilot Camp's Plea [Live Updates]

Rajasthan HC adjourns the hearing on the petition filed by Sachin Pilot camp till Monday, July 20.

Speaker directed not to take any decision on the disqualification notices till 5 PM, July 21.

The bench suggests : Matter be adjourned till Monday, Speaker not to act till Tuesday on notice.

Singhvi submits that the petition challenging the show cause notice issued by Speaker is "premature". They can raise the contentions before the Speaker, he adds.

Dr AM Singhvi  appearing for the respondents, submits that the Court cannot interfere with the notice issued by the Speaker.

Rohatgi submits that matter does not come under the ambit of the 10th schedule. Also raises the point regarding legislators' freedom of speech.
