"The hot haste in which the matter proceeded and a subsequent survey was suddenly conducted, gave rise to apprehensions in the mind of the residents of the area, which brought them outside their house. As
per reports, the police opened fire at the protesting citizens and innocent lives have been lost as a result of firing with many injured" - says #Sambhal mosque.

Sambhal Mosque committee says that the survey order was passed on the same day(Nov 19) the application was filed and survey was held from 6 PM to 8.30 PM that.
While they were preparing for legal remedies, they were informed on Nov 23 midnight suddenly that another survey will be held next day.
On Nov 24 at 6.15 AM, survey team reached the Mosque with heavy police presence and asked the worshippers/Namazis who were present in the mosque for dawn prayers to leave immediately- the plea says.
