SC Registry Sets up 'Video Conferencing Facilitation Rooms' In Delhi's Seven District Court Complexes

The Supreme Court Registry has set up Videoconferencing facilitation rooms in designated rooms of seven District Courts across Delhi so as to facilitate VC hearings for Advocates, Parties In Person and Litigants.

The circular dated June 13 states,

"It is notified for the information of all concerned that in compliance with the directions of Hon'ble the Chief Justice of India, the Registry, in coordination with the Delhi High Court has set up Supreme Court Video Conferencing Facilitation Rooms [SCI VC Room] in Seven District Courts Complexes of Delhi mentioned below for facilitating learned Advocates and litigants to join hearing of their respective matters listed before the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in Virtual Courts through video conferencing"



The circular further stipulates that whoever so wishes to avail this facility for facilitation of hearings in their respective matters, "may send intimation through AOR, 24 hours prior to scheduled hearing on email id video.conference@sci.nic.in".

In case of any difficulty, the parties-in-person and litigants, may contact the supreme court videoconferencing helpline number 1881, the Circular states.
